I was assigned to re-design the ramp as my object. After initially struggling to come up with new concepts for a ramp I decided to make it more interesting by putting it into context early. I decided to make my ramp as the roof of a building. This then changed to buildings on a mountain side. This meant redesigning the ramp in a practical but more abstract way. The ramp I have redesigned could be use as a cafe or ski club and is a new contemporary glass building. My design has been inspired by the differences and changes in architecture and by Zaha Hadid’s architectural design work.
